This exotic east Asian native is staggeringly beautiful when in bloom - and it blooms for many weeks! The stunning flowers make their first appearance in late winter while the tree is bare of leaves and last until early summer. The large 3-5" white, orchid-like flowers are spectacular, literally covering the tree in spring. It is quite a sight to see a whole tree covered with these spectacular (and fragrant!) blooms. These are great for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden.
