At Your Plant Bitch, safely delivering your order is my top priority. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

General Shipping Overview

I process and package every order with care and intention to ensure items leave my hands in the best condition. This policy applies to all products, including live plants, Your Plant Bitch’s starter grow kits, hand-mixed soils, candles, Your Plant Bitch’s Gift Boxes, and seeds. By purchasing from my shop, you acknowledge and accept the policies outlined below.

Live Plant & Perishable Shipping

Live plants and sensitive botanical items are perishable and sensitive to environmental conditions.

Weather-Based Shipping Holds: Plant health and product integrity always come first. I reserve the right to delay shipping any order—including plants, soil, Your Plant Bitch’s starter grow kits, candles, or Your Plant Bitch’s Gift Boxes—if weather or transit conditions are unsafe. This includes extreme cold, extreme heat, or severe weather that could damage sensitive items or cause items like candles or soil components to degrade during transit. Orders may be held until conditions are optimal. Weather-related shipping delays do not qualify for refunds, cancellations, or replacements. I do not ship based on customer timelines if doing so puts the items at risk.

Sensitive & Temperature-Critical Items: Some plants, such as Mimosa Pudica, require specific temperature ranges. Orders containing sensitive plants may be held until conditions are safe. By purchasing these items, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Protective Add-Ons: For fragile or temperature-sensitive items, I strongly recommend adding heat packs and protective shells. While these protections improve success rates, they do not guarantee outcomes, as weather and carrier handling remain outside my control.

Shipping Schedule

I typically ship live plants and associated Your Plant Bitch’s starter grow kits on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to avoid packages sitting in transit over the weekend. Occasionally, orders may ship on other days depending on the item, destination, and weather conditions. Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to weather holds or carrier delays.

Carrier Responsibility

Once a package is dropped off with the shipping carrier, I am no longer responsible for carrier-related delays, lost packages, or transit damage. Carrier delays do not qualify for refunds or replacements. If your package arrives damaged, take clear photos before and after opening. All carrier damage claims must be filed by the buyer directly with the carrier.

Address Accuracy

Buyers are responsible for ensuring the correct shipping address is entered at checkout. I am not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses or packages returned or lost due to address errors.

Delivery Responsibility

Buyers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and retrieving packages promptly upon delivery. I am not responsible for damage caused by packages left outside in extreme heat, cold, rain, or snow, or for damage due to delayed retrieval after delivery.

No Shipping Guarantees

Due to variables outside my control, I cannot guarantee carrier delivery times, the condition of items after transit, or the survival of plants after delivery. All sales remain final.
