Oxalis palmifrons is a low-growing perennial with stunning foliage, which is quite unlike any other Oxalis. The slow-spreading patch of ground-hugging rosettes spreads up to 2 feet (60 cm) in 10 years. Each symmetrical rosette is composed of glaucous green, 3-dimensional, miniature palm-like leaves. This plant is a winter grower that does not emerge until late fall, when it is topped with stalks of light pink flowers held just above the foliage. It remains evergreen all winter, finally going dormant when the heat of summer arrives.

💚 Oxalis Palmifrons Grow and Care Instructions 💚
~ Grow Instructions ~
Before growing oxalis from seeds, it is necessary first of all to prepare the soil. The soil should be nutritious, consisting of peat, deciduous humus and sand in a ratio of 4:4:1.
For the rapid germination of seeds, it is necessary to provide them with high humidity, good lighting and an air temperature of at least 17 degrees. To do this, the seed material is installed in a microheater, which is periodically opened to ventilate and moisten the soil.
The growth and spreadability of the Oxalis palmifrons is very very slow and the lifetime of the plant is nearly ten years. These succulents can grow up to 7.5cm in maximum. After maturation of the plant, width is coming near to 2 feet.
