The bottom of the pot also has four raised pot feet. These are designed for ventilation, and several small drain holes provide proper airflow and drainage to facilitate plant or flower growth.

~ Description of Each Bonsai Tree ~
~ Lemon Bonsai Tree thrives in nearly every climate, as long as it is brought indoors before freezing. Evergreen leaves with wonderful fragrant large size fruit. Spectacular array of purplish-white flowers with a wonderful aromatic scent.

~ The Wisteria is a strong, fast growing deciduous vine with alternating compound leaves. In spring it produces long drooping clusters of bluish-purple fragrant flowers.

~ Sakura, Cherry blossom bonsai is the most inspiring for its beauty. It produces gorgeous blossoms in the early spring that fall to the ground and create a gorgeous backdrop of pink.

~ Albizia Bonsai belongs to the Mimosa subfamily (Mimosoideae). Silk trees are fast growing trees or shrubs with thorny twigs and double pinnate leaves which fold up over night. The pink fragrant flower puffs with their silky filiform stamens have given the tree its popular name.

~ The Japanese Maple is well-known for its lovely appearance. There are multiple cultivars available, most of which produce unique leaf colors and shapes and grow to various sizes.

~ Cypress Bonsai is one of the most revered types of bonsai trees. The Hinoki Cypress Bonsai (Chamaecyparis Obtusa) features thick tighter foliage. This quality makes it a great bonsai for training as the foliage can be easily accentuated due to its dense growth.

~ The Dawn Redwood Bonsai is very popular as a bonsai. And rightly so. The care of Metasequoia bonsai is simple. This bonsai tree species grow very fast (>1m per year), reaches heights up to 30m and tolerates pruning very well. A redwood is an outdoor bonsai and is ideal for beginners.

~ The Pine Bonsai are especially popular and many people even regard them as the most typical Bonsai trees. Pine trees are evergreen, coniferous resinous trees with needles that appear in bundles of two to five.
