In May and June this amazing plant bears the largest flowers of all of the allium family with the absolutely enormous 12 to 18 inch heads producing hundreds of rose-pink flowers on stems of different lengths! When the flowers die they are replaced by huge, beach-ball-sized seed heads of radiating stems resembling an exploding firework, which make the most impressive dried flowers. This plant is perfect for front borders or large pots and containers.
